Wayland Cubit

Lieutenant Wayland Cubit is an Oklahoma native. He is a husband, father, grandfather, career Law Enforcement Professional, motivational speaker, and mentor. He is committed the past 10 years of his career to creating and supporting positive programs that benefit and change the lives of at-risk youth.
Lt. Cubit's educational journey has allowed him the opportunity to study Criminal Justice Administration at the University of Oklahoma, Police Science at Oklahoma State University OKC, and Family Studies & Gerontology at Southern Nazarene University.
In 1996, Lt. Cubit started his professional journey in law enforcement as a Patrol Officer. His early experiences as a patrolman inspired his passion to serve youth in at-risk communities in a greater and more personal manner. While embracing his entry-level position, he paid close attention to issues that plagued our low-income communities. After years in patrol, Lt. Cubit moved from one specialty unit to the next, which afforded him the opportunity to become an undercover police officer and conducted undercover street crime and narcotic investigations. His passion for the community and young people was hard to ignore. The Chief of Police, Bill Citty recognized this passion and reassigned him to the Criminal Intelligence Unit, where he worked as a gang intervention and research specialist. He experienced teen homicides, heartbroken parents/families, and was compassionate enough to acquire the wisdom to know that Oklahoma City's at-risk population needed more than just police intervention programs, but PREVENTION Programs. Prevention programs that inspired those who were consumed with hopelessness to know that they were important and could change the direction their lives were headed in, if they desired to do so.
In 2010, his experience, reputation in the community and support from his police administration inspired him to establish the OCPD F.A.C.T. Unit (Family Awareness and Community Teamwork), which is an youth outreach program that focuses on mentorship, building character and empowering at-risk youth, which ultimately reduced juvenile delinquency and involvement with the criminal justice system.
In addition to supervising the OCPD FACT Unit and Truancy Unit, Lt. Cubit volunteers as a facilitator and trainer on Effective Police Interactions with Youth and Disproportionate Minority Contacts, Fair and Impartial Policing, and is a certified instructor in Unconscious Bias. He is a former the Board Chair for Youth Leadership Exchange. He serves on several boards and committees, including the Board of Visitors for the University of Oklahoma AFAM Department, A Chance to Change, The 111 Project, Oklahoma City Black Chamber of Commerce and Odyssey Leadership Academy. He has served as the primary facilitator of the Oklahoma County Violence Reduction Strategy, Moderator for Law Enforcement Town Hall Meetings in Central Oklahoma, Mentor of incarcerated youth at Central Oklahoma Juvenile Center in Tecumseh. He has been a presenter at the Department of Justice and the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention on the topic of Juvenile Justice Reform and community engagement. Lt. Cubit was honored to be recognized as the 2015-2016 Volunteer of the Year by the Urban League of Greater OKC for his consistent willingness to share his time, experience and knowledge with the community. It is fair to say Lt. Cubit will always be found serving at-risk youth and underserved communities.
Lt. Wayland Cubit continually organizes and implements opportunities for at-risk youth to connect with positive caring adults who will help them realize their true authentic God given potential. When it comes to our youth, Lt. Cubit believes they can all be inspired to be the best version of themselves with great mentorship and leadership. He instills that in them daily and will continue to dedicate his time and efforts towards implementing more programs that inspire youth to know that the Police Department is not only an institution that confronts crime and criminals, but an institution filled with individuals who wants to see them succeed.
Ashley Nichols

Ashley Nichols is a creative with a background in branding and design, leadership development, and strategic operations. She is passionate about utilizing these combined areas of focus to create cohesive brands with beautiful collateral, build thriving individuals and teams, and implement effective, sustainable processes.
Ashley comes with a blend of entrepreneurial and corporate experience including her beginnings serving as Photo Shoot Producer for a clothing brand in Southern California, and later launching a boutique wedding photography company in her home state of Georgia.
In 2017, Ashley relocated to Oklahoma City where she served as Operations Manager and Senior Consultant for GiANT Worldwide. In this role she facilitated global project management and coordinated with 100+ consultants in nine countries, while actively consulting individuals and teams across various sectors of industry on topics of leadership development, communication, self-awareness and maximized performance.
For the last two years as Creative Manager at Hobby Lobby, Ashley has simultaneously led and mentored multiple teams with specialties in photography, craft design, styling, set design, copywriting and warehouse logistics. Her current entrepreneurial endeavors include working with multiple organizations in the for-profit and non-profit sectors providing services in branding, marketing, graphic design, content creation, and social media management.
Chelsea Drimmel
Placemaking Advisor
Whether it's Photography, Graphic Design, Interior Design or simply assembling a plate of food, Chelsea Drimmel is a designer at heart. Her love for design began young, watching and learning from her parents. “Mom and Dad are both highly creative, each in their own right... and I gravitated toward both of their passions. Dad is in the music business, creating music and the visuals that accompanied them, both on film and in person. Mom is a stay at home-mom extraordinaire. From cooking, decorating, sewing, gardening - it is all an expression of my Mom’s overflow of creativity.” Chelsea’s first true outlet for design was through photography; finding an ease and ability to capture emotion, movement and light through a camera lens became an extension of how she expressed herself.
Chelsea studied Interior Design at Abilene Christian University, where she gravitated to an emphasis in Architecture. “I love the expression of space; learning from Architects and Designers like Antonio Gaudi and Frank Llyod Wright, who were inventive and functional yet brilliant in their design choices and finishes. Traveling and walking through spaces like Sagrada Familia, the Duomo in Florence or just a simple, Colonial home in New England, I’ve felt how architecture is transformational. It tells a story, strangely familiar yet new... and when it’s done correctly, you leave wanting to experience it all over again.” After college, Chelsea worked a handful of years at RTKL, a leading architecture firm in Dallas. There she collaborated on large scale hospital newbuilds and renovations learning the fine art of design, documentation and construction.
In ‘09, Chelsea and her husband, Heath, moved back to her home city of Nashville. She began working as a Creative Director for a new artist development company helping design all things visual that accompanied the artists’ musical development. Photoshoots, Styling, Graphic Design, Videos, Logos, Live Music Experiences, CD Packaging - everyday and every artist presented a new challenge and a constant inspiration for new designs. Simultaneously, she was also able to step back into some interior design and construction roles on a few side projects. “Over the past few years I’ve been given the opportunity to be lead Interior Designer on several projects including a partial Rosemary Beach house renovation, a 20,000 sq. ft. office buildout in Downtown Nashville, a multi-campus church rebrand and design and several other office build-outs ranging from 6,000 - 10,000 sq. ft. I love designing from a blank space - knowing the needs of the end user but getting to dream, create and sculpt out the floorplan from my own mind. Then to watch as the design comes together and the layers build upon one another; the finishes, lighting, furniture and artwork, I get to see my vision take shape. In the end, I want to leave my clients filled with excitement, joy and pride in the space they get to call home. I want them to feel welcomed, inspired and comfortable to dream and create all on their own because of the space they’re living and working in.”
Today, Chelsea can still be found with multiple design and creative projects happening concurrently. She’s fueled and inspired by each project and client, and while it sometimes feels chaotic, she loves each day looking a little different than the one before. “Each client has something to say, whether it’s through Architecture, Design, Branding or Styling and my job is to help them say it.”

Mark A. Stansberry is a corporate leader with extensive experience in the energy industry. He is currently a strategic energy and corporate advisor to boards and c-suites. He has served as Chairman/CEO of The GTD Group, and CEO/President of The Oklahoma Royalty Company. An award-winning film and music producer, columnist, radio talk show host and writer, Mark is the author of five energy-related books. He was inducted into the Western Oklahoma Hall of Fame in 2009. Mark is a frequent speaker in the oil & gas space – focusing on business development, strategic planning, new technologies, digital transformation, and operational excellence within the entire energy sector.

Matt Stansberry

Matt is a purpose-led leader committed to creative excellence. Since founding Nominee in 2010, he’s been the driving force behind building the agency into a national-level boutique branding agency.
After graduating from Oklahoma Christian University, Matt began his career at Saxum as the agency’s first full-time designer. He quickly grew into the creative director role and helped build the firm’s first full-service, in-house marketing team. During this time he led all creative marketing efforts including brand development, copywriting, advertising campaigns, website development, email marketing, and video production.
He is passionate about building community, social good, and utilizing his gifts and resources in branding, creative marketing, music and entertainment to support people making a difference. In 2021, he led Nominee in launching Impact – a social good branding grant to support nonprofits addressing social justice and sustainable living. Currently, Matt serves on the board of the Oklahoma City Black Chamber of Commerce.
Matt is also active in the music industry as a recording artist (mattstansberry.com) and music consultant. His Sun Studio Session, recorded at Sun Studio in Memphis, aired nationally on PBS and he’s shared the stage with Shawn Stockman of Boyz II Men, Lake Street Dive, Academy Award nominee, Gary Busey, and Rock N Roll Hall of Fame inductee, Wanda Jackson. When Matt isn’t creating he’s spending time with his wife, Mandy, and their three daughters in Edmond, Oklahoma.
Moji Igun

Moji Igun is the founder of Blue Daisi Consulting which offers zero waste + sustainability consulting services to small and mid-sized businesses. She supports her clients in reducing waste by helping them find creative ways to keep trash out of the landfill. Moji is certified as a TRUE Zero Waste Advisor and enjoys drawing connections between zero waste and the broader spectrum of sustainability. She also serves on the Board of Directors for Zero Waste Washington.
Depending on the company/industry/scope, the first phase in my process is typically to gather data through an in-person waste audit or to map out the supply chain of the scope in question virtually. The goal is to identify the specific places where waste is generated.
This is followed by a series of strategy sessions to discuss connections that already exist or need to be created among stakeholders. This might include an educational component if zero waste is a relatively new topic to the organization. I typically offer my signature introduction to zero waste workshop, but we can also create something new depending on the situation.
Then, we create a working plan of action. If they would benefit from extra support, I can also serve as an extended member of their team to move through the implementation of my recommendations.
